Split

This page has been split. This group was Kurdish and only active from 2001 to 2003. The other one, Jama'at Ansar al-Islam, was mixed and active from 2007 until 2025. Ilamxan (talk) 21:12, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

So which group actually participated in the Syrian opposition offensives. The ref page for AIK uses the name ansar al Islam and talks about details that line up with ansar al Islam in Kurdistan, but they apparently disbanded. Not only that but the JAI has only been referenced to have participated in the victory conference and not the opposition offensives.
