Ancestors

[edit]

Hello, my name is Timur Giray, I am am male descendant of Sahin Giray. Myself and a few other male members of the Dinasty made an Y-DNA Test, and the result is we belong in the Y-DNA to R1 Z93. The Z93 is the Central Asia Branch of R1.

So it is said we belong to Cengiz Han trough his son Jochi. But there is a Y-DNA of Cengiz Han who said he belongs to C-M217. So the rumours about Jochis biological Father was the Menkrit Prince Chilger Bökh is truth. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.46.112.43 (talk) 15:01, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@91.46.112.43 Can You please give a link to Your results? --93.80.219.36 (talk) 23:18, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, it's quite interesting information. Can you somehow prove it, Timur Giray? And there is no data that Cengiz Han belongs to C-M217 (it's an assumption made by the fact that 16 million people in Asia bear this dna, and so what?? it doesn't make them descendants of Cengiz Haqan). In fact, Korean geneticists, having excavated the remains of the “golden family” of Genghis Khan, found that they all belong to the R1b branch, common among the Turkic peoples of the former empire of Genghis. Would be great to get Y-dna of the other sons of Cengiz Han and just compare them and we will get so many unrevealed answers and put an end to so many useless discussions... Devlet Geray (talk) 23:12, 2 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
